Job Summary:
The Shredder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining industrial shredding machinery. This role ensures safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the shredder while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate industrial shredders and associated equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor material flow and ensure proper loading and processing of materials.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on shredders.
• Identify and remove contaminants from materials before shredding.
• Record production data including material types, volumes processed, and any equipment issues.
• Assist with clean-up and general maintenance of the shredder area.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
• Report equipment issues to maintenance or supervisory staff promptly.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, recycling, or industrial setting is a plus.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and follow technical instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a loud, dusty, or hot environment.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Full-time
